Located at the heart of Publika lies CoffeeSociété, a coffee lover’s haven established in 2011 with a passionate aim to reinvent and redefine the Malaysian coffee scene. Brothers with a strong love for Melbourne, Kar Wai and Kar Heng, believe that a cup of coffee is best enjoyed in its all simplicity at heart. Drinking coffee is not just about keeping you awake and alert. It’s about dreams being awakened. This is the story of how CoffeeSociété was born, which aligns with MYC!’s message for the year – Awaken your dreams; Kick this year off with bang; Go for it!

CoffeeSociété is here today from and for freshly brewed good coffee. Out of what seemed so little, the founders’ dream made progress from humble beginnings and soon became a reality. At CoffeeSociété, they wish the same for you; that the very same cup of fresh brewed, good coffee will continue to pass on and be a line of never-ending inspiration.

Hot Cappuccino / Iced Hazelnut Latté

Listed as “Best Places For Coffee” by Time Out KL, for sure we dived right in to that world-class cuppa. Brewed with the richest of beans and specialized in 100% Arabica sourced directly from South and Central America, their coffee, literally, made us speechless – with a foam moustache. :}) Our recommendation: Hot Cappuccino! Coffee art: 10/10!

Girls would definitely fancy this dessert! In fact, a meal on its own! Aside from being too ‘pretty’ to eat, it tastes HEAVENLY! Hungry Traveller subconsciously finished it all and felt extremely healthy after that! Definitely recommended to try!

A slice of Red Velvet & Carrot Walnut Cake

Freshly home-baked by Kar Wai and Kar Heng’s mother, these treats ooze the love and care for your tummy, and taste buds, and probably your ‘no sugar diet’ but trust us, it is to die for!
