Samsung Galaxy MEGA
REVIEW
As big as my palm and twice the function, the Samsung Galaxy
MEGA is one of the largest phablets (Smartphone + Tablet) available - the
6.3-inch display is almost as large as the displays found on 7-inch tablets.
To ensure that the Mega still fits into pockets, Samsung
uses a display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. This addition to the Samsung family features
a wide range of nifty traits that surpasses many in its league. The Galaxy Mega
is outfitted with a dual-core processor and the standard micro-USB port on the
bottom and audio jack on the top similar to its upper middle-class competitors.
The flash storage space of only 8 GByte is also an indicator that Samsung's
Galaxy Mega is more as a middle-class and not high-end phablet. The Samsung
MEGA also runs a mile, housing a generous 3200 mAh battery inside the back
cover. Those are only among a few of the various specs existent within the
mammoth of a phone.
However, the Samsung MEGA is no perfection as it does not
surpass Samsung’s flagship phone and handles clumsily for many people who are
not used to the size of the phone. All in all, the phone is a decent enough phablet
and comes eloquently as an icebreaker.
